Cybersecurity training facility: Supporting Fortinet’s commitment to helping close the cybersecurity skills gap, the new building provides space for hands-on cybersecurity education, designed to upskill the cybersecurity workforce and expand cybersecurity awareness, fueling innovation in Calgary and beyond. As part of Fortinet’s corporate social responsibility and its commitment to Alberta’s talent development, the company is also announcing the new annual Fortinet Award in Computer Science and Engineering with the University of Calgary. Based on academic merit, the awarded student will receive a USD $3,000 scholarship for five years. Through this award, Fortinet supports students pursuing studies in computer science, data science, computer engineering, and software engineering, helping local talent build meaningful careers and contribute to Alberta’s technology sector.
